Job Description A Software Engineer will work closely with the engineering team and users on high-priority bugs and features. This person is expected to be able to manage many small- to medium-sized projects and to deliver quality work in a timely manner. Core Duties/Responsibilities Perform software development on AdReady website Perform maintenance and bug-fixing on existing AdReady applications Design and document your work Unit test software changes and support QA testing Participate in code and design review process, provide and receive feedback to/from other developers Interact with project stakeholders to develop and refine requirements Required Education and/or Experience 3+ years experience doing object-oriented application development with Ruby, Java or PERL 1+ years experience doing Ruby on Rails development 3+ years experience developing web applications in a Linux/Unix environment Strong working knowledge of SQL — at least 2 years experience Strong working knowledge of CVS or SVN Must be detail-oriented and thorough in design, coding and testing Good oral and written communication skills Proven ability to work well as part of an engineering team Proven ability to track to aggressive schedules and to produce quality deliverables on time Must be able to work well independently with minimal supervision Preferred Qualifications BA/BS in Computer Science or related field Professional experience with MVC application development Strong CSS experience Experience with MySQL including query optimization Experience with Agile software development Professional experience with online advertising or e-commerce application development   Please describe the job you are offering.
