Responsibilities
Develops and maintains web page code for the company’s Internet websites, including editorial content database as well as other asset and client databases. Participates in meetings with internal customers, project managers, and other technology department staff to help establish product requirements and schedules. Perform other job related duties.
Required Qualifications
This position requires a wide range of technical knowledge, strong
programming/scripting skills, W3C standards expertise, and interaction design ability. Must be able to translate business requirements into functional products and make good design decisions. Experience with Ruby on Rails, SQL, XML, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, and content management systems are prerequisites and 3 years of experience in web development and information technology is required. Java and Publishing industry experience a plus.
